Building Hemp Homes

For the same reason that Wave Tribe uses hemp in its production of boardbags and surf gear you’ll find that other eco entrepreneurs are using hemp to do lot’s of things—even build homes.

A recent article in Good Design points to the positive aspects of using hemp to build homes (words in brackets added by us):

“Hemp makes a good building material (and surf gear) because it’s extremely energy-efficient, non-toxic, and resistant to mold, insects, and fire.

Plus, it absorbs carbon dioxide, making it good for the environment.”
